⚠ Hint: During the import process we will not ask for your credentials. This is why you need to generate exports from Google or Apple yourself.

Cling assists you during the import and guides you through the process. The import window can be opened via the board menu. Select "Import data" ❶ to begin.

Next you need to specify the data source.

If you go for bookmarks, your web links from your browser or your Pocket.com account will be transmitted. If you pick Apple Notes or Google Notes, you can import your content from Apple's and Google's notes app.

  1. Save your bookmarks from your browser or Pocket as HTML to a file
  2. Open Cling and choose "Import data" from the board menu
  3. Select "Bookmarks" or "Pocket" as data source
  4. Select the HTML-file from step 1 and upload it to Cling
  5. Done ✔

  2. Create a takeout of your notes
  3. Open Cling and select "Import data" from the board menu
